Solomon River
The Solomon River is a 184 miles-long (296 km)[1] river in the central Great Plains of North America. The entire river in the U.S. state of Kansas. It is a tributary of the Smoky Hill River.

Names
The Native name for the river was Nepaholla. It meant "Water on the Hill". This is a reference to Waconda Spring, which was in the river valley.[2]
