Steve Cannon (April 10, 1935[1] – July 7, 2019) was an American writer. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was known as the founder of the cultural organization A Gathering of the Tribes.[2] Cannon went completely blind in 1989 from glaucoma.[2]
Cannon died on July 7, 2019 from septic shock caused by a ruptured cyst at a hospital in New York City at the age of 84.[3]
