Tarzan Escapes
Tarzan Escapes is a 1936 jungle adventure Tarzan movie. It is based on the fictional characters and concepts created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. It is the third of the six MGM Tarzan movies starring Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan.

Story
Captain Fry (Buckler), a hunter, captures Tarzan to put him on public display. Fry makes a deal with an unfriendly native tribe to give him food, canoes, and protection for the journey back to civilization. Fry's plan goes wrong when the natives capture Tarzan in his cage. Tarzan escapes with the help of elephants and Cheeta. Fry falls into a quicksand bog and dies. Tarzan and Jane are reunited at their treehouse.
