Ted Troost
Ted Troost (1936 – November 2024) was a Dutch physician and physiotherapist specialized as a haptonomist .

Troost worked at among others at football clubs XerxesDZB, AZ'67, Chelsea F.C. and AC Milan. During the early 1980s he treated the at the time famous speed skater Hein Vergeer. After Vergeer had praised the effects of his treatment, more and more top athletes came to Troost. One of the highlights in his career was the UEFA Euro 1988, where he treated a most of the Dutch players of the team that became European champion. In the same year he published his book Het lichaam liegt nooit (translated: The body never lies), which has been reprinted several times.[1]
