This template generates an external link to the French Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) for a specific airport. These links change every 28 days and the template calculates the correct URL based on the current date.
Airports in France
Parameters:
- (unnamed) – airport's ICAO location indicator, i.e. LFMN
- name (optional) – airport's location, i.e. NICE CÔTE D'AZUR (location and bold print are as shown in the AIP). Most airports show two locations: the first is the city served, second is the city where the airport is located.
Short version (used in airport lists):

Parameters:
- (unnamed) – airport's ICAO location indicator, i.e. NTAA
- (unnamed) – AIP directory

Technical information
The AIP is updated on a 28-day cycle as per the ICAO. For the online version of the French AIPs this causes a change in the URL involving the AIRAC effective date formatted as YYYY-MM-DD
. This template uses the current date (presently 22 Nov 2024) to calculate the effective date. The following is a list for the current and upcoming AIRAC cycles:
