Parameters

Parameter	Description
name	Local name of station. Do not include disambiguation prefixes such as "London" or suffixes such as "(London)". e.g. "Victoria".
symbol	Which type of station it is; you can put rail, underground, overground, tram, crossrail or dlr in this field. You can add up to four symbols, using parameters symbol, symbol2, symbol3 and symbol4. Same as with {{Infobox GB station}}.
alt_name	Alternative name of main terminal stations. e.g. "London Victoria".
manager manager1 manager2	The operating companies that manages the station. The largest/busiest stations are Network Rail.
owner owner1 owner2	The owner of the station where not obvious. Usually Network Rail or London Underground.
locale	Station location
borough	Local authority
platforms	The number of operational platforms. Do include platforms only occasionally used. Do not include abandoned platforms.
fare_zone fare_zone_1	TfL fare zone(s) used for Travelcards and other tickets.
railcode railcode2	Use the National Rail station code only for stations served by NR trains. Second code is for stations with domestic/international split.
tubecode	Used for where National Rail station codes exist for tube stations not served by NR trains.
access=yes	Used where a station has disabled access.
access_note	Allows description if there is not complete access and a reference.
cyclepark	Used where a station has bicycle parking, either behind or outside ticket barriers.
toilets	Used where a station has public toilet facilities. May also state if behind/outside ticket barriers.
railstation=yes	Only needed for stations with national rail services which do not have at least one of the railexits= parameters set.
image_name image_alt caption	Main image, caption and alt text (see WP:ALT).
latitude longitude map_type label_position	Generates a map. Default is Greater London. Outside London it can be set to the local county. For latitudes between 51.4866 and 51.5369 with longitudes between -0.1994 and -0.0686 set |map_type=Central London for larger-scale map. Label position can be altered using |label_position= where needed, valid values are bottom, left, right, top; default is bottom. When giving coordinates, please don't be overly precise. The {{decdeg}} template may be used to convert coordinates in degree/minute/second format into decimal degrees.
coord_region	When |latitude= and |longitude= are provided, a link to mapping services is generated upper right. By default this link has region:GB; use |coord_region= to alter that. Codes should comply with ISO 3166-2:GB, e.g. use |coord_region=GB-BNE for the London Borough of Barnet.
gridref	OS grid reference.
original pregroup postgroup	Railway companies that originally opened the station, owning company at the time of 1923 Grouping, and successor company after the 1923 Grouping
years1 and events1 years2 and events2 years3 and events3 ... years15 and events15	Key events in station history. Up to 15 pairs may be used.

The HTML markup produced by this template includes an hCard microformat, which makes the place-name and location parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue articles across Wikipedia, or via a browser tool operated by a person, to (for example) add the subject to an address book.
