Biography
Nakagawa was born in Kawasaki on July 27, 1992. After graduating from Senshu University, he joined J1 League club Yokohama F. Marinos in 2015. However, there were few opportunities to play. In September 2016, he moved to J2 League club FC Machida Zelvia on loan. Although he returned to Yokohama in 2017, he moved to J2 club Avispa Fukuoka on loan in July. In 2018, he returned to Yokohama again and he played many matches from 2018. In 2019, Yokohama won the J1 champions. He also scored 15 goals and became a top scorer with teammate Marcos Júnior and was selected "J.League MVP".
In December 2019, Nakagawa was selected the Japan national team for 2019 E-1 Football Championship. At this tournament, he debuted against Hong Kong on December 14.
