Texas State University

Texas State University is a public university in San Marcos, Texas, United States. There are about 28,000 students enrolled and it was founded in 1899.[1]
The school is the namesake of the Texas State University System, founded in 1911 to govern the state's normal schools (teachers' colleges). The system now has four universities and three two-year colleges.
Texas State's sports teams, nicknamed "Bobcats", are members of the Sun Belt Conference.
