The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack is an American animated television series made for Cartoon Network that started on June 5, 2008. The show was made by cartoonist Thurop Van Orman, who has worked as a writer and storyboard artist on Camp Lazlo and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. the main point of the marvelous misadventures of flapjack is the main characters (captain knuckles, flapjack & bubbie) trying to find the magical island of candied island. flapjack is an adventurous little boy taking after and learning from captain knuckles, knuckles plays the role of a lazy sailor who is addicted to maple syrup, and bubbie is a antropomorphic whale who is the foster mother of flapjack and protects him from dangerous recurring situations in the series of which he is naïve. The series premiered airs at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT time on June 7, 2008 on Cartoon Network in the United States.
