Plot
It is the story of three American silent movie actors (Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Martin Short) who are mistaken for real heroes by the suffering people of a small Mexican village who are terrorized by a group of bandits led by the chief bandit El Guapo (Alfonso Arau). The actors must find a way to live up to their reputation and defeat the bandits.
