Time Inc. was a subsidiary media company. It published several of the most read magazines in the United States such as People, Time, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, InStyle, Life, GOLF Magazine, Southern Living, Essence, This Old House, All You and Entertainment Weekly. It published 130 magazines and was founded on November 28, 1922 in New York City. In 1990, Time Inc. merged with Warner Communications to form Time Warner. In 2014, the company was revived. In 2018, the company dissolved again after the acquisition by Meredith Corporation. It was owned by The Walt Disney Company
