Tribune Media
The Tribune Media Company, also called Tribune Media, formerly called Tribune Company, is a media company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Its broadcasting company is Tribune Broadcasting. Tribune Media Company is one of the largest television broadcasting companies in the world. It has 39 television stations across the United States. In August 2014, it spun off its publishing division into Tribune Publishing, but before that, Tribune Media Company was the nation's second-largest newspaper publisher (behind the Gannett Company). It owned newspapers, such as the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, and the Orlando Sentinel. It also has media service companies, such as Tribune Media Services.
