Tupolev Tu-124
The Tupolev Tu-124 (NATO code-named Cookpot) is a twin-turbojets airliner built in the USSR between 1960 and 1965.[1] It was one of the first civil jet aircraft in the world. It could accommodate between fifty and sixty passengers.[1] At least 164 of them were built.[1] It was operated by Aeroflot, Iraqi Airways, Interflug, and ČSA.[1] The Tu-124 was removed from airline service in 1990 and removed from military service in 1992.[2] It was replaced with the more advanced Tupolev Tu-134.
