Umang Lai sacred groves

The sacred groves dedicated to the Umang Lais (Lua error in Module:Unicode_data at line 468: attempt to index field 'scripts' (a boolean value).) are mainly found scattered in the plains of the Indian state of Manipur. Due to rapid urbanization, the condition of the groves are becoming worse. So, massive social campaigns are in progress to preserve the religious protected areas of the flora in the state.[1][2][3][4][5]
