Vasily Chuykov (February 12, 1900 – March 18, 1982) was a Russian general.
During World War II he was commanding the 62nd army, with which he was especially outstanding himself in the Battle of Stalingrad.
He was twice Hero of the Soviet Union (1944, 1945).
He was made Marshal of the Soviet Union in 1955.
