Wheaton is a city in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, 95 people lived there.[6]

History

The first post office in Wheaton was founded in 1870. It was called Leghorn until 1883.[7] The post office remained in operation until it was closed in 1992.[8]

Wheaton is at 39°30′8″N 96°19′4″W / 39.50222°N 96.31778°W / 39.50222; -96.31778 (39.502313, -96.317779).[9]

According to the United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.15 square miles (0.39 km2). All of it is land.[1]
