White nationalism

The Birth of a Nation is a silent movie from 1915. It is about the Assassination of Abraham Licoln. While it was very innovative, and a commercial success, it was also criticized for being racist, and for advocating white supremacy.

White nationalism is a type of nationalism that sees white people as a race.^[1] It also wants to keep a national identity of white people as a race.^[2]^[3]^[4] Many believers of white nationalism see certain countries (often their own country) as being countries that are for white people only.^[5] Often, supporters of white nationalism can also believe in white supremacy, nazism, Ku Klux Klan and other racist policies and ideas.
