William Joseph Bauer
William Joseph Bauer (September 15, 1926 – December 15, 2025) was an American judge. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was the Senior Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit from October 31, 1994 until his death.[1] He served as Chief Judge of the court from 1986 through 1993. He was nominated to serve by President Gerald Ford.
