World Trade Center is a 2006 American survival disaster drama movie directed by Oliver Stone. It is based on the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center. It stars Nicolas Cage, Maria Bello, Michael Peña, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Stephen Dorff and Michael Shannon.
The movie was shot between October 2005 & February 2006. It was released on August 9, 2006. The movie had mixed critical reviews although it made $163 million in the box office.[1]

This screenshot from the film is a view (due north, looking south) of the smoking North Tower of the World Trade Center as seen from a bus full of police officers heading to the burning buildings. The RCN van represents the company's image in 2004, not in 2001.
