Yasin Malik

Yasin Malik (born 1966) is a Kashmiri separatist leader and former militant. He supports the separation of Kashmir from both India and Pakistan.[1] He is the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front.[2] Malik did not support violent actions in 1994 and wanted more peaceful methods in the Kashmir conflict.

In May 2022, Malik said that he was guilty of criminal conspiracy and causing war against the state,[3][4][5] and was sentenced to life imprisonment.[6]
