WinBack: Covert Operations known in Europe as titled Operation WinBack and Japan as WinBack (WinBack) is an third-person shooter video game, developed by Omega Force (formerly known as developer of Dynasty Warriors series) and published by Koei (Europe version by Virgin Interactive (Nintendo 64 version) and Midas Games (PlayStation 2 version). The gameplay is similiar to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Kill.switch and Gears of War series. The game has also found a sequel, called WinBack 2: Project Poseidon in 2006. The story begun, when player follows Jean-Luc Cougar, a secret agent infiltrating a laser satelite's command center, Gameplay revolves around its innovative cover system, in which the player takews cover behind the corners, and then ducks it out to shoot.
