1991 DFB-Supercup
The 1991 DFB-Supercup was the fifth season of the DFB-Supercup. This was the only season where 4 teams participated, because of German reunification in 1990. The 4 teams were the 1990-91 Bundesliga winners 1. FC Kaiserslautern, 1990-91 DFB-Pokal winner Werder Bremen, 1990-91 NOFV-Oberliga and 1990-91 NOFV-Pokal winners Hansa Rostock and 1990-91 NOFV-Pokal runner-up Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt.
Kaiserslautern would win the DFB-Supercup, after beating Werder Bremen 3–1 in Hanover.[1]
