Alfred E. Smith IV

Alfred Emanuel Smith IV (May 24, 1951 – November 20, 2019) was an American Wall Street executive. He was born in New York City and was a senior advisor for the Marwood Group. He was a volunteer and member of many charitable boards, including the Tony Blair Faith Foundation,[1] and Mutual of America,[2] and was the chairman of the board of Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Center.[3]

He was the great-grandson of Al Smith, Governor of New York (1919–1920, 1923–1928) and the 1928 Democratic presidential nominee.

Smith IV died at his home in New Canaan, Connecticut, of a heart attack on November 20, 2019, at the age of 68.[4]
