Alfred E. Smith IV
Alfred Emanuel Smith IV (May 24, 1951 – November 20, 2019) was an American Wall Street executive. He was born in New York City. Smith IV was a senior advisor for the Marwood Group. He was a volunteer and member of many charitable boards, including the Tony Blair Faith Foundation,[1] and Mutual of America.[2] and was Chairman of the Board of Saint Vincent's Catholic Medical Center.[3]
He was the great-grandson of Al Smith, Governor of New York (1919–1920, 1923–1928) and 1928 Democratic presidential nominee.
Smith IV died at his home in New Canaan, Connecticut of a heart attack on November 20, 2019 at the age of 68.[4]
