Babe Didrikson Zaharias
Mildred Ella "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias June 26, 1911 – September 27, 1956) [1] was an American athlete. She had great success in track and field, golf, baseball and basketball. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas in June 1911. Zaharias won two gold Olympic medals and one silver medal in 1932.
Zaharias died in Galveston, Texas from colorectal cancer at the age of 45. she had 4 children

The Babe Didrikson Zaharias Museum in Beaumont is also one of the city's welcoming centers.
