Belinda Carlisle (born August 17, 1958) is an American Grammy Award nominated singer, author and songwriter. She was the lead singer of The Go-Gos and left in 1985 to pursue a successful solo career.[1] Carlisle was born in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
