Brooke Astor
Brooke Astor (born Roberta Brooke Russell; March 30, 1902 – August 13, 2007) was an American philanthropist, socialite and author. She was the chairwoman for the Vincent Astor Foundation. The VAF was founded by her third husband, Vincent Astor, son of RMS Titanic passenger John Jacob Astor IV. Brooke Astor wrote two novels.

Astor was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She died in Briarcliff Manor, New York at age 105 from pneumonia.[1][2]
