Bruce Rauner
Bruce Vincent Rauner (born February 18, 1957) is an American businessman and politician. He was the 42nd Governor of Illinois from 2015 to 2019. He defeated Pat Quinn on November 4, 2014. Rauner is the Chairman of R8 Capital Partners and the former Chairman of the private equity firm GTCR. Rauner ran for re-election in the 2018 election, but lost to Democrat billionaire JB Pritzker.[1]
