Chances Are (song)
"Chances Are" is a 1957 song by American singer Johnny Mathis. It went to number 4 in the United States along with its B-side The Twelfth of Never. A portion of the song was used in the 1977 movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The 1989 movie is named after the song.
