Child's Play (also called Chucky) is an American horror comedy franchise centered on a series of seven movies created by Don Mancini.
The movie mainly focus on Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif), a serial killer known as the "Lakeshore Strangler" whose soul is transferred inside a Good Guy doll following a voodoo ritual in order to avoid going to Hell. In the 2019 reboot, Chucky (voiced by Mark Hamill) is an AI doll, gone out of control, and determined to kill people. The franchise through movies, merchandise, DVD sales and videos has made over $250 million.[1]
