Clinton, Oneida County, New York
Clinton is a village in Oneida County, New York, United States. There were 1,683 people living in Clinton as of the 2020 census.[2] It was named after George Clinton, the first governor of New York.

- Richard Nelson Bach Jr., captain and leading scorer of the EHL's Clinton Comets 1956 EHL hockey championship. Two time MVP and three time scoring champion. Voted into Hall of Fame on first vote in 1961.

Geography
The village has an area of 0.6 square miles, says the United States Census Bureau. The village is east of the Oriskany Creek.

Kirkland Town Library in Clinton
Drawing of the main (male) building of the Clinton Liberal Institute, published in Historical Collections of the State of New York in 1842. At that date Clinton had not yet been incorporated, so it is described as being in the town of Kirkland.
