Cyrille Regis

Cyrille Regis, MBE (9 February 1958 – 14 January 2018) was an English international footballer. He played as a forward.

His professional playing career lasted 19 years, where he made 614 league appearances and scored 158 league goals, most notably at West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City. He also won five caps for the England national team.

Regis was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2008 Birthday Honours.[1]

Regis died of cardiac arrest on 14 January 2018 at the age of 59.[2]
