Dionne Warwick (born December 12, 1940) is an American R&B singer. She was born in East Orange, New Jersey.
Warwick sang many songs written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Many of these songs were hits.[1]
In 1990, Warwick hosted and executive produced a talk show, Dionne and Friends. She was a contestant in the 2011 season of The Apprentice.
Warwick's sister Dee Dee Warwick (1942-2008), their aunt Cissy Houston (1933-2024) and cousin Whitney Houston (1963-2012) were singers.
