Doha Agreement
The Doha Agreement was a deal signed between the United States and the Taliban in Doha, Qatar in February 2020.[1] It said that all U.S. troops are going to leave Afghanistan by May 1, 2021.[1] U.S. President Joe Biden said that the U.S. exit from Afghanistan will begin on May 1, 2021 and end by September 11, 2021, which would be exactly 20 years since the September 11 attacks.[2]
