Gilda Susan Radner (June 28, 1946 – May 20, 1989) was an American actress and comedian. She was born in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of the original cast members of NBC's comedy program Saturday Night Live (for which she won an Emmy Award in 1978). She died from ovarian cancer in Los Angeles, California. She was married to actor Gene Wilder before her death.
