History

Ginsters started in 1969 when Geoffrey Ginster began making Cornish pasties in a converted egg-packing barn in Callington. [2]

The company grew quickly, and in 1977 it was bought by Samworth Brothers. [3] During the 1980s and 1990s the bakery was expanded, modernised, and became a major employer in East Cornwall. [4]
