Jennifer Rene Psaki (/sɑːk/; born December 1, 1978)[1] is an American political advisor. She is the 34th White House Press Secretary and has held the position since January 20th 2021.

She was White House Communications Director from 2015 to 2017 during the Barack Obama presidency.[2] She has also been a CNN contributor.[3]

In November 2020, Joe Biden announced Psaki his pick for White House Press Secretary.[4] She told Biden that she would be press secretary for only a year into her term, so until 2022.[5]
