Jennie (singer)
Jennie Kim (Korean: 김제니, born January 16, 1996), known as Jennie (제니) is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is a member of the South Korean girl group, Blackpink, founded and managed by YG Entertainment. At a young age, she went to New Zealand and stayed there for a period of time. She is also known for her single "Solo".

Early life
Jennie was born on January 16, 1996 in Bundang in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, South Korea.[2][3] She moved to New Zealand to live at age 8 and attended Waikowhai Elementary School as an exchange student.[4]
In August 2010, she became a trainee of YG Entertainment.
