Jordan Belfort

Jordan Ross Belfort (/ˈbɛlfɔːrt/; born July 9, 1962) is an American author, motivational speaker, and former stockbroker.

In 1999, he pleaded guilty to fraud and related crimes in connection with stock-market manipulation. Belfort spent 22 months in prison.[5]

He published the memoir The Wolf of Wall Street in 2007, which was made into a movie in 2013.

Biography

Belfort was born in 1962 in the Bronx district of New York City to Jewish parents.
