Kutch district (also spelled Kutch or Kachchh, Gujarati: કચ્છ જિલ્લો) is a formerly-independent district of Gujarat state in western Republic of India. Covering an area of 45,612 km², it is the largest district in the state of Gujarat and also the largest district of India. Only the Leh, in Indian-administered Kashmir is larger.
