Lenox Hewitt
Sir Lenox Hewitt (7 May 1917 – 28 February 2020) was an Australian public servant. He was the Secretary of the Prime Minister's Department under John Gorton (Liberal) 1968-71, and Secretary of the Department of Minerals and Energy under Rex Connor (Labor) 1972-75.

He remained active in public policy debate.[2]
He was the father of Patricia Hewitt, a former Labour minister in Tony Blair's government in the United Kingdom.
Hewitt died, aged 102, of Lewy body dementia-related problems on 28 February 2020 at a care home in Edgecliff, New South Wales.[3]
