Leslie Cheung
Leslie Cheung Kwok-Wing (12 September 1956 – 1 April 2003) was a Hong Kong singer and actor. He is considered "one of the founder fathers of Cantopop" by "combining a hugely successful film and music career."[5]

Cheung's English name was inspired by the actor Leslie Howard (pictured) in Gone with the Wind.
Cheung's role in Days of Being Wild, directed by Wong Kar-wai (pictured), earned him a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor.
