Lubnya
Lubnya (Ukrainian: Лубня; Hungarian: Kiesvölgy; Polish: Łubnia) is a village in the Uzhhorodskyi Raion in the Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine.

History
The village was founded in the 17th century next to the Lubnya stream. Its name was first mentioned in a document in 1631 as Lubnya. In 1808 it was written as Lubnya, Lubná, in 1851 as Lubnya, and in 1913 as Kiesvölgy.
Since 1999, the Uzhansky National Park has been established in this area, which is part of the Polish-Slovak-Ukrainian East Carpathian Biosphere Reserve.[1]
For many years, both Ukraine and Poland have been in talks to open a border crossing for bicycles and pedestrians at Lubnya-Wolosate, which will help boost ecotourism in the region.
Population
According to the 1989 census of the Ukrainian SSR, the village's population was 287 people, of whom 132 were men and 155 were women.[2]
According to the 2001 Ukrainian census, the village had a population of 211 people.[3]
