Madeleine L'Engle

Madeline L'Engle (November 29, 1918[1] – September 6, 2007[2]) was an American writer. Her book A Wrinkle in Time won the Newbery Medal. A Wrinkle in Time was made into a movie in 2003.

L'Engle was born in 1918 in New York City, New York. She died at her home in Connecticut on September 6, 2007.
