Mae Muller

Holly Mae Muller (born 26 August 1997) is an English singer-songwriter best known for representing the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 with her song "I Wrote a Song".

Life and career

Holly Mae Muller was born in London on August 26, 1997. Her grandfather, Robert Müller, was a refugee who escaped to Britain from Nazi Germany at the age of 12, and settled in Wales.

Muller began writing her own music at age eight. In 2018, Muller signed to Capitol Records. Mae Muller first received mainstream recognition after releasing the single "Better Days" in 2021. She made the single with Swedish music collective Neiked and American rapper Polo G.

In March 2023, the BBC announced that Muller had been chosen to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "I Wrote A Song".[1] Muller finished in 25th place out of the 37 competing countries, with 24 points in the Grand Final.[2]

Her debut studio album Sorry I'm Late will be released in September 2023.
