Mae Questel

Mae Questel (born Mae Kwestel, September 13, 1908 – January 4, 1998) was an American film, television, stage, and voice actress, who was most famous for her voice role as Betty Boop (1931–1939, 1988). She was also known for voicing the animated character Olive Oyl between 1933 and 1983, and for her role as Aunt Bethany in the Comedy/Slapstick show National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989).

She was born in New York City, New York and was educated at Columbia University. She was married to Leo Balkin from 1930 until they divorced. Then she married Jack E. Shelby from 1970 until his death. She had 2 children. She died in Manhattan, New York City, from Alzheimer's disease, she was 89 years old.[1]
