Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg
The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (German: Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, shortened MLU) is a German public university in Halle and Wittenberg, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
It was established by a merger in 1817 and is named after Martin Luther.
President is Udo Sträter.
It had nearly 20,000 students in 2015.
Its focus is on all sorts of sciences.
