Meritxell Batet
Meritxell Batet Lamaña (born 19 March 1973) is a Spanish jurist and politician. She is a member of the Socialists' Party of Catalonia. In May 2019, she was elected as President of the Congress of Deputies.[1] Before this, she was Minister for Territorial Policy and Civil Service of the Government of Spain between June 2018 and May 2019.
