Muriel's Wedding
Muriel's Wedding is a 1994 Australian comedy-drama movie. It was directed by P. J. Hogan and stars Toni Collette as Muriel Heslop. She is a socially inept, plain, dowdy, overweight young woman who has low self-esteem and is obsessed with ABBA music. Bill Hunter plays her uncaring father Bill and Rachel Griffiths plays her friend Rhonda. Muriel's Wedding was released 29 September 1994 (during 1995 in the United States). It is set in New South Wales and was shot there and in Queensland.
