Kinmen
Kinmen (or Quemoy) is a small group of islands close to the coast of China. It is governed by the Republic of China (Taiwan). It forms a county, Kinmen County (Chinese: 金門縣; pinyin: Jīnmén Xiàn), of Fujian Province. The capital is Jincheng Township.
The county is claimed by the People's Republic of China (PRC) as part of its own Fujian Province. It is very close to Xiamen, no more than 2 kilometres.
