Ram Temple, Ayodhya

Ram Mandir or Ram Temple is a Hindu temple in Ayodhya, a city in Uttar Pradesh, India.[1][2]According to Hindus, the site is the birthplace of the Hindu god Rama.[3][4]

The city (where the temple is), is considered holy by the Hindus.[5]

Opening (2024)

The Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi held a ceremony in regard to the opening of the temple on 22 January 2024; Some people boycotted the ceremony, because the temple was not completed before the opening; That goes against beliefs of Hindu religion.[6] The Indian National Congress cancelled the invitation calling it a political event of RSS and BJP.[7]
